Ford Ranger has been waiting for is finally officially launched in Bangkok, Thailand. Pickup Trucks Ford medium of choice is marketed in three body styles. Namely Regular, Super, and Double Cabin. New Ranger Cabin is also claimed as the most extensive in its class.
As was previously reported by the APG team, engine options are available for this Ranger comprises Duratorq TDCi Diesel engine 4 cylinder 2.2 liter, 5 cylinder TDCi Duratorq Diesel 3.2 Liter, and a four cylinder gasoline engine 2.5-liter Duratec. Wheel drive system is available in 2WD and 4WD.
Ford's new Ranger contains many elements of the Ford 150, but we do not take for granted, there are certain parts that we change to suit the needs of our customers here says Craig Metros, Chief Designer of Ford.
Turning to the interior, the new Ranger presents many technologies that provide comfort for drivers such as iPod connectivity, Voice Control, USB, CD, Bluetooth, air conditioning with Climate Control and GPS navigation to a specific model.
Ford has made sure to market the new Ranger in Thailand starting late this year. For Indonesia, it seems consumers have little patience until the mid-2012.
